Well hello there! This blog post marks the first on this website, and I'm pretty new to this format, so please bare with me while I get acquainted with all the features this website has to offer. :) As mentioned in the About section, I am used to blogging on TamaTalk, but I decided to try Wix because I can make the blog more aesthetically pleasing. The wonky image formatting on TamaTalk always drove me crazy!
It's been quite a while since I last logged about Tamagotchi's. I try to maintain Tama logs the best I can, but I usually end up fizzling out with school, work, and other life stuff going on. Hopefully I can actually maintain a log this time, though. I think if I pace myself better than other times, I should be able to keep this running. This will be a TMGC-focused Blog, but I will write about life happenings as well to keep things spicy, haha!
Well, let's begin!
Cherry Pink V3: Gen 1
I am currently running a Cherry Pink V3 (an impulse buy from eBay a couple of weeks ago, only $15!!), my Fairy Blue Tamagotchi On, and my Pink Sanrio Tamagotchi Meets. If I'm being completely honest, this is my second run on the Cherry Pink V3... The first run got all the way to an adult Papparatchi, married and had a baby, but I slept in the next day and woke up to the angel egg on screen. :/ It still kinda hurt to see that after all these years! But I wasn't going to give up that easily, so a couple of days ago I reset and tried again. This time I got a baby boy whom I named Ace. I've been giving Ace so-so care, so he hasn't evolved into GREAT care characters or anything. After his baby stage he evolved into Tamatchi, and he is currently a Patapatatchi in his teen stage. Surprisingly enough, his discipline meter is maxed out, and I even accidentally missed a call for attention once. Maybe he'll become a good-care parent?
Fairy Blue TMGC On: Gen 3
As the title of this section suggests, I am currently on the third generation for this guy, or I should say gal.... er, gals. Yup, I currently have twins! I hear that this is a more common than rare occurrence, but it's the first time I've ever gotten twins on a Tamagotchi On. For now there is not much to say, as the pictures I have can describe more than words can. The twins are currently teens though, so they should evolve into adults soon. On the Tamagotchi On App, Masktchi (vintage) is the special guest at the matchmaker party, so I plan on breeding one of the girls to him so that I can have his genes in their family tree! He won't provide much in the cuteness area, but he's still a character you can't get/marry on the device, so I'm gonna get his rare genes, lol. I see peoples Tama's in the Plaza on the app, and some of them are so GD adorable! I hope to get a little cutie one of these days. Then again, trying for funny genes wouldn't be a bad idea, either. As for unlockable locations, I have every area unlocked except Fairy Land, but since I'm on the 3rd Generation it should be unlockable when the twins turn into adults. Also, I forgot to mention that they're named Cutietchi and Beautietchi! They're kinda ugly currently, but if Cutietchi keeps Mochiusatchi's ears, I'll marry her to Masktchi to hopefully carry on that gene.
**PS: Please excuse the 2nd Generation Tamagotchi's name! I'm pretty immature at times. :x
Pink Sanrio Meets: Gen 1
Unfortunately I don't have much to say about her at the moment! She's just a toddler and I haven't unlocked any new locations besides Tama Hotel, so nothing new yet. I did start her up so that I can get some cute genes in my Tamagotchi's gene pool, but since she's a girl I plan on mating her with Masktchi as well just to get those genes in there. HOWEVER, I have run into a bit of an annoyance while running the Sanrio Meets. I am an American Tamagotchi On App user, and I have a Sanrio Meets (JPN Only) that CAN connect to the app, yet can't bring any presents or Gotchi Points back onto the device. This is unfortunate, because the app provides fast minigames that pay well in GP, while the Sanrio Meets' minigames are hard to understand for non-Japanese users as well as they are quite long. I don't know why I am able to connect to the app, yet can't bring anything back?! It's going to be a pain in my behind to play that match game a million times to afford all the items, lol. Oh well!
That's all for now! See you when I see you. ;)
